Do It Yourself

This fixture is low voltage (12V), the most common option for residential landscape lighting. With little risk of electric shock and wires that can be directly buried in shallow trenches (minimum 6 inches), it’s safe and easy enough for most do-it-yourself homeowners to install – and we’ve made sure you’ve got everything you need to make installation a breeze.

Installation Tip: This path light has an approximately 16-foot diameter beam spread. For continuous illumination along a path, space these fixtures about 16 feet apart. For independent pools of light, space about 20 feet apart, depending upon your preference and the terrain.

The slit enables you to insert wire and affix fixtures after the stake is already in the ground! Unlike smaller stakes that cause tilting due to improper anchoring, our Hammer Stake keeps fixtures secure.
